KHULAIMAT ARINOLA, MOMOH-AYOKANMBI was born on the 18th of April 1980 to the family of Alhaji Olayiwola Azeem Momoh-Agoro and Alhaja Yemisi Adeola Momoh of Epetedo Lagos Island in the Lagos Island Local Government, Lagos State.

She obtained her LLB Degree in 2005 from the Lagos State University and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Abuja Campus in year 2006.

She started her Law career with the firm of Femi Jolaoso & Co as a youth corper between the years 2007-2008 and was subsequently employed where she was exposed to all aspects of Litigation.

She thereafter moved to Lagos State Ministry of Justice in October 2008 where she worked as a volunteer in the Citizens Mediation Centre (CMC).

She was later employed in January 2009 into the Lagos State Civil Service and was posted to the Directorate of Civil Litigation and in 2010. She was posted to the Office of the Public Defender (OPD) where she worked for two years.

In June 2012, she was posted to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) where she served for 9 years as a seasoned prosecutor till she was nominated as the present Board Secretary of Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA).


Arinola Momoh- Ayokanmbi was a pioneer member of the Plea Bargain Committee of the Directorate of Public Prosecution and served as the Secretary to the Committee and in 2020. She also served as the Secretary to the Advisory Committee on Police Prosecution at the Magistrate Court constituted by the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in the person of Moyosore Onigbanjo (SAN). The Committee was chaired by Mr Fola Athur-Worrey, a retired Permanent Secretary and Solicitor-General of Lagos State Ministry of Justice.


She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA); International Bar Association (IBA); International Society for the Reform of Criminal Law; and Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria.



She is a Muslim, married to Olufemi Ayokanmbi and blessed with two children.
