OLUWAKEMI OLUGBODE (MRS.) is a lawyer, called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. She joined the Lagos State Civil Service in October 1994. Her career started in the Directorate of Public Prosecution where she rose from Legal Officer 1 in November 1994, to Chief State Counsel in July, 2007. She was deployed to Directorate of Advisory Services and Judiciary Liaison in July 2007 as a Chief State Counsel. She rose from the rank of Chief State Counsel to the rank of Director in the department and remained in the department until 2016 She is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association and the International Bar Association. She has attended several courses locally and internationally at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (University of Lagos), Advanced Human Rights Courses Program at the Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria (South Africa), Arbitration and Mediation Courses She is a seasoned prosecutor and expert in Administrative Law, Employment, Pension matters and a trained advocate of Human People’s Rights. She has attended courses and conferences locally and internationally such the International Bar Conference and the International Association of Prosecutors Conference. Her hobbies are reading and travelling.
